(OTCBB:CFWH) ("CFWH"), a leading operator of comprehensive wound care treatment centers that offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy as well as other advanced wound care treatment modalities, today announced it is attending the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring event, April 26-29 in Dallas, Texas. The event is being held at the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Convention Center.
The Center for Wound Healing will be represented by senior management, including Chief Executive Officer Andrew Barnett and Chairman and Medical Director John V. Capotorto, M.D. CFWH's exhibit will present the Company's comprehensive range of wound care services and the advantages of its turnkey, low-cost business model. Physicians and other medical professionals will also be able to arrange for a presentation at their respective hospital while at the CFWH exhibit.

The 1,724 square foot Center, which was designed, built and financed by CFWH, contains two wound treatment rooms and two hyperbaric oxygen chambers, which will be utilized by CFWH staff and Princeton HealthCare System physicians to heal chronic wounds, such as those caused by diabetes, the effects of radiation, complications from surgery, lymphedema, vascular disease and trauma.

Capotorto, MD, the Company's chairman and medical director, has been elected Secretary of the American Association for Wound Care Management (AAWCM) during the annual Symposium on Advanced Wound Care in Dallas.

Prior to joining CFWH, Dr. Capotorto served as vice president of American Hyperbaric, Inc., and as chief medical director of its predecessor company, New York Hyperbaric. Previously, Dr. Capotorto was an attending physician in Adult and Pediatric Endocrinology and was a clinical assistant professor at SUNY Health Science Center - Brooklyn. He holds board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adult and Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism, and is accredited in Hyperbaric Medicine.
Dr. Capotorto also served as Medical Director of the Diabetes Treatment Center at Staten Island University Hospital, and has extensive experience in both wound care and hyperbaric medicine. He graduated from Vassar College in 1981 and studied Medicine at the University of Bologna. He returned to New York where he completed a combined medical and pediatric internship and residency. Dr. Capotorto was a Research Fellow in Islet Cell Transplantation at the Joslin Diabetes Center and a clinical fellow in Adult and Pediatric Endocrinology at both the Joslin Diabetes Center and Children's Hospital, part of the Harvard Medical School system.
In addition to his medical training, Dr. Capotorto has completed an Executive MBA program at the Baruch College.
